Weighted vest
A weighted hug for the moments that need it most.
- Your child can't stay in one spot for more than a minute
- They crash into furniture, walls, or people for input
- They calm down when you hug them tightly but not before
- Class teachers say they're up and down all day
- They seem more focused after physical activity, then unravel again
The idea behind it
The weighted vest gives that input continuously. Five to ten percent of your child's body weight, distributed across the shoulders and torso, delivers the same calming pressure as a long hug - except the vest stays on while they work, eat, and play. Breathable mesh panels designed for Indian summers with adjustable velcro straps and removable weights so it grows with your child.
Designed with our OT panel. Helps make heavy work possible.
Please use safely
Never place weight on the chest, stomach, head or face. Never wear during sleep. Never use to hold a child still or as punishment. Never force a child who resists it. Adult supervision is required during wear. Check with your OT first if your child has breathing difficulties, asthma, fragile bones or a recent injury.

What's inside
How to use it at home
Get the weight right
Weigh your child. Calculate 5% of their body weight. Load that into the vest. Start with 15-minute wear sessions during a calm activity — drawing, watching TV, eating. Watch for signs they like it (settled, focused) or don't (pulling at it, sweating, frustrated). Adjust load down if needed.
Use it for transitions
Put the vest on 10 minutes before the hard moments — getting dressed for school, sitting for homework, going into a busy place. The pressure preloads their nervous system so they arrive already settled.
Off when calm, on when needed
The vest isn't meant to be worn all day. Two to three hours total, broken into 20–40 minute sessions. Off during sleep. Off when they're already regulated. Like glasses, it's a tool for when they need it.
Reviews
Every product is designed with occupational therapists
Our clinical panel works with Indian children every day. Every product is reviewed for safety, developmental fit, and how well it works in a real home — not just a clinic. If your child's OT recommends something different, listen to them first. We're a tool, not a substitute for therapy.
