Welcome to NeuroBuddy. These Terms of Service govern your use of neurobuddy.in (the "Site"), our readiness assessment, and any products you buy from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the Site.

About NeuroBuddy

NeuroBuddy is a developmental support brand operated from Faridabad, India. We design and sell tools that help children with autism, ADHD, and learning differences practise developmental skills at home. Our products are co-designed with practising occupational therapists and special educators.

What we are, and what we are not

NeuroBuddy is a developmental support brand. We are not:

  • A medical service, healthcare provider, or clinic
  • A substitute for clinical assessment, diagnosis, or therapy
  • A licensed therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist

Our readiness assessment and product recommendations are educational and informational only. They are not a diagnosis, prescription, or medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician for your child's specific needs.

Using the Site

You may use the Site to learn about our products, complete our readiness assessment, place orders, and contact our team. By using the Site, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or accessing the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian
  • You will provide accurate information when completing the assessment or placing an order
  • You will not misuse the Site, attempt to access restricted areas, or interfere with its operation
  • You will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose

We may refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access if these terms are violated.

The readiness assessment

Our assessment is designed to help parents understand their child's developmental stage across six domains and suggest products that may help. It is not a clinical diagnostic tool.

  • Assessment results are recommendations based on the responses you provide
  • Results should not replace professional evaluation by a qualified clinician
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about your child
  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes from following our recommendations

Products and pricing

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST
  • Product descriptions, ages, and recommended uses are guidelines, not guarantees of fit for every child
  • We reserve the right to change prices, withdraw products, or limit quantities at any time
  • Despite our best efforts, occasional pricing or description errors may occur. We reserve the right to cancel orders affected by such errors and issue a full refund

Orders and payment

  • Placing an order on the Site is an offer to buy, which we accept by confirming the order
  • We may decline orders at our discretion, including for stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud
  • Payment is processed by Razorpay. By placing an order, you agree to Razorpay's terms for payment processing
  • We do not store your full card or bank details on our systems

Use of our content

All content on neurobuddy.in - including the NeuroBuddy logo, product designs, photographs, illustrations, written copy, our readiness assessment, parent guides, and free resources - is the intellectual property of NeuroBuddy.

You may:

  • Read, view, and download our free resources for personal, non-commercial use
  • Share links to our content on social media with attribution

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell our content without written permission
  • Use our content to train AI systems or in commercial products
  • Modify our content and present it as your own
  • Use the NeuroBuddy name, logo, or product names without our prior written consent

User-generated content

If you share photos, videos, reviews, or comments with us (by email, on social media, or anywhere else), you grant NeuroBuddy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and share that content for marketing and educational purposes, with attribution to your first name where relevant.

We will never share images of your child or identifying details without your prior written consent.

Disclaimers

The Site and our products are provided on an "as is" basis. While we work carefully with occupational therapists and special educators, we make no warranties that:

  • Our products will produce specific developmental outcomes
  • Our recommendations will be the right fit for every child
  • The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure

Always consult a qualified clinician about your child's specific needs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroBuddy's total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the Site or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold NeuroBuddy harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer can be contacted at:

Grievances will be acknowledged within 48 working hours and resolved within one month of receipt, in accordance with applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Faridabad, Haryana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be notified by email to customers and at the top of the Site.

Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
