Weighted blanket
Steady, quiet weight for the wind-down before bed.
- They struggle to slow down at the end of the day
- They seem calmer when covered or tucked in
- They enjoy firm, steady pressure - hugs, being wrapped in a towel after a bath
- They find winding down easier with a quiet, focused activity
- They can lift the blanket off themselves independently
The idea behind it
The Weighted Blanket is a tool for that wind-down. Its evenly distributed weight delivers what OTs call deep-pressure input - a steady, organising signal that many children find calming. It sits well with quiet activities: reading together, listening to music, the last twenty minutes before lights out. Some children respond strongly to it; some don't. It works best as part of a routine, not as a fix. Made from 100% cotton with non-toxic weighted fill, it's breathable for Indian nights and heavy enough to feel real.

What's inside
How to use it at home
Try it during the day first
Start with short sessions — 10 to 15 minutes of quiet time under the blanket while reading or watching a show. Let your child get used to how it feels. Some children take to it right away; others need a few tries. Never force it.
Bring it into the wind-down
Use it during the last part of the bedtime routine — story time, quiet talk, listening to music. Notice how your child responds. Not every child finds it calming, and that's okay.
Decide what works for your child
If it helps them settle, keep it in the routine. If they seem restricted, too warm, or unbothered, use it for daytime quiet time instead — or set it aside. Do not leave a child under the blanket overnight without adult supervision.
Reviews
Every product is designed with occupational therapists
Our clinical panel works with Indian children every day. Every product is reviewed for safety, developmental fit, and how well it works in a real home — not just a clinic. If your child's OT recommends something different, listen to them first. We're a tool, not a substitute for therapy.
