Why this matters

The idea behind it

Once your child can ask for roti and milk, the next question is bigger: what do they want to do? Play with bubbles? Watch the swing? Take down the colouring box from the high shelf?

I Can Make a Choice picks up where I Can Ask — Food & Drinks ends. Twenty bilingual cards for toys, play, and everyday activities: bubbles, ball, blocks, swing, slide, colouring, music, TV, tablet, and more. Your child hands you the card, you start the activity. The hand-over now buys them not just food, but a whole afternoon.

Same Velcro book format as I Can Ask. Same OT-designed protocol, aligned with PECS. Hindi and English on every card.

How to use it at home

Week 1

Start with 3 favourites

Pick three activities your child already loves — bubbles, blocks, ball. Place those cards on the choose page. When they reach for the toy, redirect to the card first. Card hand-over, then activity. Speed matters.

Week 2

Add the words

Same routine, but now name the card as they hand it. "Bubbles! You want bubbles!" Don't ask them to repeat. Just name and give. Five tries a day during natural play moments.

Week 3

Bring the book to play time

Keep the book where toys live — by the play mat, near the TV. When your child walks to the book on their own and brings you a card, they've made requesting a habit. Add 2–3 new cards each week.

The NeuroBuddy promise

Every product is designed with occupational therapists

Our clinical panel works with Indian children every day. Every product is reviewed for safety, developmental fit, and how well it works in a real home — not just a clinic. If your child's OT recommends something different, listen to them first. We're a tool, not a substitute for therapy.
