Why this matters

The idea behind it

Receptive language — understanding what's said — runs ahead of expressive language for most children. But it has stages: first single verbs ("jump"), then verb plus object ("throw the ball"), then verb plus object plus location ("put the ball in the box"). Getting through those stages is what makes school instructions, parent requests, and group activities work.

I Can Do is a structured game kit built around five everyday objects — soft ball, wooden block, toy car, plastic cup, branded box — and sixty bilingual cards across three difficulty levels. Level 1 teaches single verbs ("throw"). Level 2 adds objects ("throw the ball"). Level 3 adds locations ("put the ball in the box"). Each level uses the same five objects, so your child masters the objects in week one and focuses on the instruction from week two onwards.

Designed with our OT panel. Mapped to ARIS lessons 10, 11, 36, 94, and 95.

Your first three weeks

How to use it at home

Week 1

Level 1 — single verbs, one object

Place only the ball on the floor. Pull Level 1 cards — "throw," "push," "give." Show the card, say the verb, your child performs with the ball. Six trials per session, ten minutes max. They learn the verbs before objects multiply.

Week 2

Level 2 — verb plus object

Place three objects — ball, block, car. Pull Level 2 cards: "push the ball," "give the block," "throw the car." Now your child has to listen for both the verb and the object. This is where receptive comprehension genuinely starts.

Week 3

Level 3 — add the location

Add the box and cup. Pull Level 3 cards: "put the ball in the box," "put the car on the table." Three-element instructions — verb, object, location — are the bridge to school readiness. Eight trials, three different verbs, three different objects per session.

Every product is designed with occupational therapists

Our clinical panel works with Indian children every day. Every product is reviewed for safety, developmental fit, and how well it works in a real home — not just a clinic. If your child's OT recommends something different, listen to them first. We're a tool, not a substitute for therapy.
