Buddy Helps - Social Stories
Four small books. Four moments. Four scripts your child can practise.
- Your child doesn't know what to do in everyday social moments
- They ignore greetings, not because they're rude but because they don't have the script
- Family members ask "why doesn't he say hi?" and you don't know how to explain
- Therapy mentions social stories but you don't know where to start
- You want a tool that teaches social behaviour without forcing performance
The idea behind it
Buddy Helps is a four-book social-story kit built on Carol Gray's methodology — the framework used by occupational therapists and special educators worldwide. Each small hardcover book teaches one social script through rhyming couplets, short enough to read fifty times, structured enough to learn. Every book ends with a three-step picture recap — "what will I do?" — so your child can rehearse the action alongside the story.
Each story honours the child in front of you: a small "hi" is enough. Sitting quietly counts. Presence over performance. Designed with our OT panel.

What's inside
How to use it at home
Read one story, fifty times
Pick the situation most relevant to your week. Read it before bed, every night. Don't quiz. Repetition is the mechanism — the rhyme makes it bearable to read again and again.
Use the "what will I do?" page
Every book ends with a simple 3-step picture recap. Read it together at the end of the story, and again in the morning. Keep the recap page visible — on the fridge, or near the bed.
Rehearse before the real moment
If Papa is coming home this evening, read the Papa book in the afternoon. If you're visiting an aunty tomorrow, read the "someone says hi" story tonight. Social stories work before the situation, not after. Preparation, not correction.
Reviews
Every product is designed with occupational therapists
Our clinical panel works with Indian children every day. Every product is reviewed for safety, developmental fit, and how well it works in a real home — not just a clinic. If your child's OT recommends something different, listen to them first. We're a tool, not a substitute for therapy.
Take the 5-minute Readiness Check
17 questions across 6 areas. At the end, you'll get a personalised list of which tools are right for your child today — and which to wait on.
